We offer a comprehensive range of engineering technology courses covering the following areas:
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering (including Computer-Aided Drawing: CAD)
- Motor Vehicle Servicing/Repair and Auto-Electrical Engineering
What kind of environment will I be learning in?
The College's £6.3 million building programme has created London's most up-to-date Technical Institute, housing the latest computer suites, and state-of-the-art facilities for learning skills in electrical installation, security and motor vehicle mechanics. This cutting-edge facility includes extensive IT services enabling access to information and learning resources from the internet, as well as computer-enabled learning facilities and access to e-learning. The Technical Institute also boasts comprehensive engineering workshops equipped with modern engineering equipment, both manual and robotic.
What kind of real life experience will I get through these courses?
Students learning on site will practise their skills in our fully-equipped workshops - from servicing cars to learning how to install security systems. The School also arranges regular trips and talks using its industry links.

What would these courses qualify me to do?
Qualified engineers are in strong demand in our economy, and many engineering qualifications also enable you to go on to further or university-level Higher Education study.
Can I study these subjects as an Apprentice?
Electrical Installation, Engineering Manufacturing and Production, and Motor Vehicle Engineering are offered as Apprenticeships
Can I combine these subjects with studying English language?
Motor Vehicle Engineering is offered with English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Can I study these subjects as university-level Higher Education qualifications at Uxbridge College?
This school offers the following full-time Higher Education qualifications:
- BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering
- BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Services (Electrical)
