What kind of environment will I be learning in?
With Heathrow on our doorstep, anyone who wants a career in the thriving area of travel and tourism is in the right place. We organise work placements with airlines, hotels, tour operators and travel agents for every student, and students have conducted research on behalf of a major firm that provides transport around Heathrow for passengers. American Airlines sponsors the College's travel courses.
What kind of real life experience will I get through these courses?
Work placements, presentations and talks from people who work in travel and tourism, residential study visits, and business tours all help students learn directly through industry experience.
What would these courses qualify me to do?
Successful students move on to a huge range of jobs including with airlines, airports, travel agencies, tour operators, tourist attractions, and hotels. In addition to careers in the tourism industries, these qualifications can also enable you to go on to higher study.
