Financial Support

Students aged 16 to 18 years old are not charged for course fees, but there may be some costs involved with certain courses. These may include the purchase of textbooks, equipment, uniforms or excursions.

Education Maintenance Allowance - to help with the day-to-day costs of being a student, your child may be entitled to the Education Maintenance Allowance, which is worth up to £30 a week for eligible students.

Care to Learn - young parents, under 20 years old, caring for their own children and doing a course can receive funding for childcare.

Learner Support Fund - the College has access to additional funds to help with the cost of studying, if a student is having a particular difficulty.
