Educational & Learning Partnerships
We have close links with a number of universities, colleges and educational institutions within London. Uxbridge College offers a number of courses which are approved by some of the universities listed below. For specific courses students have the option to continue their studies to gain a full honours degree by completing an extra top up year.
University Partnerships:
University of Greenwich - The University of Greenwich offers the best of both worlds, city and country. As a student you would be on the doorstep of London, but we also offer the cream of Kent - rolling hills, pub-to-pub walks, seaside resorts and Canterbury Cathedral - not far away.
University of Westminster - Since its foundation in 1838 as Britain's first polytechnic, the University of Westminster has been closely involved in the business, professional and academic life of London.
Thames Valley University - London Reading Slough. Thames Valley University believe education can improve your knowledge, develop your skills and help you achieve your aspirations.
We want you to go further and higher.
Brunel University - West London. Since becoming a university in 1966, Brunel has had much to celebrate. Our rise during the last 40 years has been impressive and our reputation grows year on year.
Kingston University - London. Kingston University offers a wide range of courses across a variety of subject areas. The Guardian ranked Kingston University as number one
among the 'new' universities in London in 2006.
Bucks New University - Bucks New offers 300 full-time, part-time and short courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. With campuses in High Wycombe and Chalfont St Giles within easy reach of central London, Bucks New boasts good facilities and strong links with industry and has earned a reputation for innovative, vocational courses.
Learning Partnerships:
West London Lifelong Learning Network -West London Lifelong Learning Network are a government funded partnership helping vocational learners achieve higher level work-related qualifications through flexible learning. They help to enhance your employment potential by developing courses to fill employers' skills shortages in:
- Health and Social Care
- Heathrow (travel and tourism, hospitality and catering, retail, logistics, aeronautical engineering, environmental sustainability, business and IT services)
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) - The LSC is a national organisation funding further education, including the majority of our courses - particularly those that help lead to qualifications. The regional office, London West Learning & Skills Council, helps us to plan our provision so that we meet the needs of residents and the local economy.
