Ofsted Outstanding
Ofsted judged the College to be outstanding - the highest possible result that they can give. Following the one-week visit in May 2008, inspectors from the government's education inspection body Ofsted gave the college the highest possible accolade for its standards which covers six main areas, five of which were graded outstanding (Grade 1), the sixth good (Grade 2):

CoLRiC
CoLRiC is an independent organisation working with Learning Resources Managers to enhance and maintain excellence in their college services throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Learning Resources Service received a grade 2, 'Highly Commended Award' after CoLRiC assessors came into Uxbridge College and assessed our learning resources service. This is intended to assist colleges create and maintain high quality services, and contribute to their 'accreditation portfolio'.

We continue to update our teaching and learning and we are a member the Westminster Partnership Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (CETT). The partnership promotes and share good practice in teacher training and keeps up-to-date with the latest developments in teacher training.
