We constantly keep pace with changes in information and communication technology (ICT) to ensure that what you learn is always in line with the needs of employers.

Who are these courses for?
We have a range of courses for people at all levels. You may want to learn skills such as word-processing or email to help you at work or at home, or be looking to gain more advanced skills for a career in web design, software development, systems administration, as a helpdesk operator, in programming, or other computing and IT careers.

Skills training on offer which can be used in virtually every area of work includes:

Our purpose-built, industry-standard training rooms will give you everything you need to achieve your goals. Teaching and study takes place in our Technical Institute at the Uxbridge campus and in other modern computer suites at the college.

With computing and IT an integral part of nearly every economic sector, any qualification in this area will give you an advantage in the job market.

Can I combine these subjects with studying English language?
Information Technology is offered with English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Can I study these subjects as university-level Higher Education qualifications at Uxbridge College?
The School of Computing & Information Technology also offers the following full-time Higher Education qualification: 

  • BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing (General)
  • BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Interactive Media
