Teacher Training for the Post Compulsory Sector (16+) Centre for Excellence
Uxbridge College offers courses to help gain nationally recognised teacher training qualifications, including those leading to fully qualified status for the sector. There is a wide range of courses available including generic teacher training courses and teaching English (ESOL) courses. All courses are part-time with an additional teaching practice element.

1. Do you want to find out what Teacher Training is like and gain an initial qualification?
• Qualify to teach your subject specialism
• Qualify to teach English to Adults in this country or abroad
2. Are you already working as a teacher in post-16 education, but need to get trained?
• In Further, Adult or Community Education or in a publicly funded training organisation
• Working as an ESOL teacher in Further, Adult or Community Education or in a publicly funded training organisation
• If you have a PGCE or equivalent
