If English is not your first language and you want to improve your English skills, or you didn’t quite meet the minimum entry requirements for our Pre-University or Pathway to Degree programmes – our English courses may be appropriate for you.  We understand the challenges facing students from a huge range of cultural and social backgrounds – and know how to put you on the road to success.

Our courses are at a range of levels, so we can help you develop your skills whether you are a beginner, or already have some English knowledge. With the help of our supportive staff, previous international students on our English Language courses have achieved excellent results in English exams, and several have progressed on to our range of Pre-University and Pathway to Degree courses.

We also offer English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses. These courses prepare students to sit for the internationally recognised University of Cambridge English Language examinations: PET, KET and FCE. The College’s EFL courses are accredited by the British Council, and the College is a member of English UK.
