Students aged 16 to 18 years old are not charged for course fees, but there may be some costs involved with certain courses. These may include the purchase of textbooks, equipment, uniforms or excursions.
16-19 Bursary - students aged between 16-19 can receive up to £15 per week to help with the cost of college. The amount given to students is based on household income levels. There is additional funds available (£1200 per year - £40 per week) for 16-19 year olds who are in care, a care leaver, living independently on income support, or who are disabled and getting both ESA and DLA.

Care to Learn - helps parents under the age of 20 with the cost of childcare while they continue their education or training. If you are under 20 years old at the start of your course and need help with the cost of childcare, please contact Student Support.
