A Valentine's menu including a passion fruit and cava cocktail, goat's cheese fondue, pan-fried sea bass and Bailey's trifle will be on offer at Uxbridge College's community restaurant, Lifestyles.
Lights will be dimmed and candles lit when the Catering and Hospitality students cook and serve the four course meal, as part of their training to become chefs and front of house staff.
Tables will be covered with crisp white linen and decorated with a scattering of red heart confetti and heart-shaped balloons, and the restaurant will be decorated on the Valentine's theme. Roses will be on sale to raise funds for hairdressing students to take part in a national competition.
Lifestyles, part of Hayes Community Campus, off Coldharbour Lane, Hayes, will open for the special Valentine's dinner on 12 February from 6.00pm - it usually opens to the public at lunchtimes on weekdays during term time. The meal will cost £16.
