An afternoon of outdoor entertainment including live music, dance, activities and variety acts will be held in Hayes on Saturday 16 May.

MayFayre will take place at Barra Hall Park, Wood End Green Road, Hayes, from 2pm-7pm and is brought to you by Uxbridge College.

Events in the afternoon will be presented by performing arts students and hair and beauty students and include:

Rock, pop and R&B music including:
* Kustom IV - featuring Umar Arar and Dan Alvarez
* Mick Warwick 
* Quarantine

Dance performances including:
* Jazz dance
* Urban and contemporary dance

Variety acts likely to include:
* Magic
* Stand-up comedy
* A drag act
* Monologues
* Short scenes

Activities including:
* A fortune teller
* Storytelling tent
* Face-painting
* Makeovers
* Hair styling

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnic and make a day of it.

* Activities will cost around 50p to £1 and donations towards the costs of the event will be welcome.
