People looking for work can get advice at an open day offering information about free training and support.

The Progression in the Recession event takes place at Uxbridge College on Tuesday 21 July.

The open day is for anyone who has recently been made redundant, has been looking for work for some time, or wants to return to work after a period of time at home.

Advice and information will be on offer about support with job searches, CV writing, links with local employers, work placements, and skills training.

* Drop in on 21 July to the Hayes Community Campus in College Way, off Coldharbour Lane, Hayes, from 9.30am - 12.30pm, or Uxbridge Campus, Park Road, Uxbridge, from 2.00pm - 5.00pm.
