This course is for young people seeking to gain an understanding of, and the skills required for, the electronics industry.Course Content
The course comprises of three mandatory units plus five specialist units (this provides a total of 60 credits at Level 2), all of which must be passed to obtain the qualification.Mandatory units:
- Working safely and effectively in engineering
- Interpreting and using engineering information
- Mathematics for engineering technicians.
- Applied electrical and mechanical science for technicians
- Electronic devices and communication applications
- Electronic circuit construction
- Operation and maintenance of electronic systems and components
- PC hardware and software installation and configuration.
