"I chose to study fashion because I was interested in developing my creative skills and I wanted to learn how the fashion industry worked.
In the first year we have completed projects making dresses inspired by different decades such as the 1960's and an FMP on our own topic. I have learnt skills in design and garment production alongside fashion photography and styling. I attended the UAL insights programme where we completed different types of workshops with London College of Fashion lecturers.
I have also been lucky enough to work within the wardrobe department at Pinewood Studios which has been a really exciting experience. When I finish this course I would like to continue with this work and plan to complete more work experience in my second year."
