Your business could get a £2,500 grant for recruiting an Apprentice
Recruit an Uxbridge College apprentice student and receive a grant of £2,500 (while LSC funding lasts).
This offer is only available to small and medium sized businesses (who employ between 10 - 249 people) and those who take on a new or additional apprentice between now and 31st March 2010.
The apprentice needs to be aged 16 or 17, employed by your business and work at least 35 hours a week and also attend Uxbridge College on day release.
They must be paid at least the minimum wage for apprentices (£95 per week).
We presently offer apprenticeships for the following areas:
- Business Administration
- Customer Service
- Electrical Installation
- Hair and Beauty
- Hospitality & Catering
- Motor Vehicle.
