" Currently I am studying four AS Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Information Technology at Uxbridge College.

I decided to come to the UK from Pakistan as the standard of education is better in the UK. I have family here who recommended Uxbridge College as they knew of its excellent teaching standards and success rates. My father came to the UK and visited all the colleges in the surrounding areas and chose Uxbridge College for me.

It was the best choice for me as I like everything about the College and would definitely recommend others studying here. There is a variety of students from different cultures and backgrounds and the standard of teaching is excellent, as are the facilities.

After completing my studies at Uxbridge College, I hope to go on to university and study medicine at either Kings College or Oxford. Uxbridge College has given me the right start in achieving my long term goals. "

" Having completed seven CEEs (equivalent to GCSEs) in Hong Kong, I decided to follow in my brothers footsteps and come to the UK to study at Uxbridge College.

At present I am studying four AS Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Politics as well as GCSE English.

I love everything about Uxbridge College from the well prepared and enjoyable lectures to the great social activities for students. I received excellent support and advice from my tutors and from the International Officer.

Studying away from my home country has given me the opportunity to become more independent, broaden my horizons and meet people from all cultures. I would definitely recommend Uxbridge College to people as it's a great place to study and has high quality teaching standards and different teaching methods.

After completing my studies at Uxbridge College, I am planning to go to university to read Economics. "

" I decided to come to Uxbridge College to study HND in Computing after completing Higher Secondary Education qualifications, the equivalent to A Levels, back in my home country India. My father is in the UK and he recommended the College because of the high teaching standards and excellent facilities.

The lecturers are highly qualified and have lots of industry experience and the course is well structured. It has a nice mix of students from different cultures and background, therefore you get the opportunity to learn about other lifestyles and ways of living.

I am currently in my second year and have found every aspect of the course and college life invaluable. The atmosphere within the College is very academic but also friendly and fun. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Uxbridge College and have gained so much knowledge of the computing industry.

After completing my studies, I am planning to take a gap year and then progress to a degree in Programming at Kingston University or Middlesex University and with my HND qualification I will be able to go straight to the final year of the degree course. "

" Studying Access to Psychology & Social Studies at Uxbridge College has been highly rewarding. I came to the UK for a better standard of education and a more recognised formal qualification which would be a stepping stone to university.

All my family studied in the UK so I knew the benefits of studying here. My family recommended Uxbridge College as it has excellent state-of-the-art facilities and the course structure covered all the areas thoroughly. I received good support and advice from both my lecturers and from the International Officer; therefore I know I have chosen the right course to further my career aspirations.

After completing my course at the College I am planning to go on to university to study a degree in Social Work at either, Kingston, Middlesex or Thames Valley University. "

" I came to the UK with two degrees from my home country Myanmar. These qualifications were not recognised in the UK, therefore in order for me to do a degree in this country I decided to do a HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

After completing my HND I am planning to go to university to study a BSc in Electronic Engineering at either Imperial or Greenwich University.

I am thoroughly enjoying my time at Uxbridge College and have made lots of friends. The teaching staff are very supportive and know their subject inside out, therefore I have 100% confidence in their abilities. "

" After completing Motor Vehicle Level 1 & 2 at Uxbridge College, I progressed onto the BTEC National in Mechanical Engineering.

I came to the UK from Tanzania in 2006, with GCSEs, with the hope of a better standard of education. I have always had a passion for cars and anything to do with them, therefore the Motor Vehicle course was an obvious choice for me. I chose to study at Uxbridge College as my mum has visited many colleges but the facilities and course content here were excellent.

What I liked most of all was the excellent level of support I received, not only from my tutor and lecturers but also from the International Officer. They gave me advice and guidance on the best route and course for me to take in order to achieve my goal of being able to study at higher education level.

After completing my course here, I am planning to go on to Kingston University to study Automotive & Diesel Technology and then go back to Tanzania and work with my father in our family business. "
