Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974

Please read the following carefully, and complete as appropriate. (Failure to provide details of convictions or cautions may result in dismissal from the College).

This Act allows some criminal convictions to lapse after certain periods of time. When this happens such convictions are called 'spent' and a person with such a conviction is not generally required to supply information about it to a prospective employer.

The vacancy for which you are applying is however one for which you are obliged to declare ALL convictions and cautions (including those which occurred at any time in the past), since the Act does not apply to applications to Further Education Colleges. On commencement of employment, the College will check this statement with the Criminal Records Bureau.

Please list any criminal convictions or cautions below.
