STEP - Student Training & Employment Project
The Uxbridge College Student Training and Employment Project (STEP) aims:
- To help students find full time, part time, temporary and seasonal work in and around West London
- To help employers source bright, flexible people to fill casual, ad hoc, ongoing and seasonal vacancies
- To provide advice on employment issues for students and employers
- To help employers offer work that best fits student availability
- To help students to help themselves to learn and earn and find work that fits with their pattern of study.
Uxbridge College has become one of the first in the country to be awarded 'Training Quality Standard', a kite mark for excellence in providing training and support for employers. The College also has the MATRIX quality kite mark for advice and guidance.
