A Level and selected Level 3 BTEC & UAL Results - UPDATE
If you are still waiting for results from other Level 3 courses we will email these to you as soon as they are available.
A number of A Level & BTEC results had been ‘moderated’ through the statistical modelling currently discussed in the national press. We are pleased to confirm that late on Monday 17 August, Ofqual announced that A-Level & GCSEs results would NOT be moderated and would be certified as per the Teacher Calculated Grades submitted by the College. Similarly, a smaller number of BTEC grades had been moderated and Ofqual announced on 19 August that these too will now return to the Teacher Calculated Grades.
Please be aware that this has caused the delay to the release of some results (eg. Level 1 & 2 BTECs), and will require the redistribution of some results already released by awarding-bodies to students. The College is working with urgency with our awarding-bodies partners to have these grades reissued - we will update you as soon as we possibly can.
GCSE and selected Level 2 BTEC & UAL Results released 20 August 2020
Results will be available at Uxbridge Campus on Thursday 20 August between 9am - 12pm, after which they will then be posted 1st class that day to your home address. Given the Ofqual position updated on the 17 August, we are pleased to confirm that HCUC GCSE results were NOT moderated downwards.
As above, Ofqual announced on 19 August that BTEC grades will no longer be moderated and will be certified as per the Teacher submitted Calculated Grades. Please be aware that this has caused the delay to the release of eg. Level 1 & 2 BTECs.
As not all results will be available, we will let you know by text if there are any results for you to collect. However, due to current circumstances, we ask that you come into the College ONLY if you need to know your results for progression purposes. Please bring your College ID with you.
