Study Programmes
At Uxbridge College we offer you more than just a qualification. Like all other colleges we are fully embracing the government’s policy to provide students with a comprehensive programme of study.
Our study programmes combine your chosen course and area of study with a range of transferable skills to enhance your learning and help you develop. You will gain valued qualifications plus the skills to equip you for progression into higher education, further training and employment. This rich, full programme will be designed with your individual needs in mind and content is tailored just for you. Here are some of the elements of your study programme:
English & Maths
Directed Learning
This planned activity takes place outside of the classroom and helps you to develop your independent study skills. You will be set work to complete that will enhance your learning. You will focus on extending your knowledge to gain a deeper understanding of your subject area.
Employability, Progress & Review (EPR)
Weekly EPR sessions are a great way to learn about a range of topics that will help your academic and personal development. They include sessions on employment and progression opportunities, target setting, applying for university, sustainability, financial assistance and topical subjects.
Employability Skills

It is also important to demonstrate your professionalism with good punctuality, attendance and commitment. College life will help you with those skills so you are well prepared for your next steps.
