Dhneep Bains, Jack Smith, Grace Esteban and Paul Dore-Smith were involved in the project at Franklin House in West Drayton. Children from West Drayton Primary School also took part and painted scenes from their school. Artist Bernie Collins painted a waterfall and a secret garden.
The four students from Uxbridge College are studying for a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art and Design.
Jessie Blindell, Art and Design Lecturer at Uxbridge College, who helped set up the activity, said: “These four students had a great opportunity not only to show how gifted they are, but to make a real contribution to their local community. They are really proud of what they’ve created and it is great to know their work will continue to be enjoyed by the residents and staff at Franklin House.”
