Writer and poet Eva Salzman, whose work is featured frequently on the BBC, held a workshop for A Level students helping them to develop their writing and poetry skills.
The author of four volumes of poetry, including Double Crossing and One Two, inspired students with her ideas and suggestions about how to work more creatively.
The American-born writer's work has appeared in publications including The New Yorker, the Guardian, the Poetry Review and TLS.
She has won a number of major literary awards, holds a Fellowship at Warwick University, and has taught in the US and England.
