Are you currently looking for a job? Uxbridge College can offer free training and support to help you get back into work.
If you, or anyone you know, have recently been made redundant or if you have been looking for work for some time without success, then Uxbridge College may be able to help.
As part of our commitment to local people and to the local economy, we are providing training that offers the chance to gain the skills you need to help you get back into a job. We can offer support with job searches, CV writing, links with local employers, possible work placements, plus training in a range of subjects providing skills to help you get back to work. Free training may be available and there could also be support for travel and childcare.

Free English language and skills for life training
If you are employed in the hospitality, retail or health care sector working for a small or medium sized company in greater London you may be eligible for English language training.
The Bridge the Gap project is led by TVU and co-funded by the ESF and LSC (eligibility criteria apply) and offers training for speakers of other languages. The course covers essential business and personal skills including form filling, handling money and understanding English. Flexible teaching times and locations are on offer, and training is supportive and given in small friendly groups.

Take a look at our modern chef-created menu at Lifestyles - our training restaurant. Every meal is cooked fresh each day, using seasonal ingredients and exclusive menus.
You will be served at your table by one of our waiters or waitresses in training, and three courses costs only £6.00 with a range of daily specials. The restaurant is also fully licensed.
