Students put their fashion collections on display in a vibrant catwalk show. Models wore designs by students on BTEC National Diploma in Fashion at Uxbridge College Fashion Show 2009.
The work included Accessories from 1st year students, followed by a Print collection. Then it was the turn of the 2nd years to show their Geometric dress collections and their Year Final Major Project collections which were created around individual concepts. Students took inspiration from everything from tattoos to punk to housewife chic.
The show took place in The Mall at Uxbridge College's campus in Park Road, Uxbridge.
Jayne Weeks, Section Manager in Art, Design & Media, said: "This annual fashion show is one of the most colourful events of the year at Uxbridge College and attracts a huge amount of attention. It is a real high point for our students to see their months of work come together in a live show.
"Many of our students are now going on to study fashion and related subjects at some really prestigious universities and colleges. Despite the current economic climate, the fashion industry continues to be big business, so a creative, committed young person who has trained here has a real advantage over many others in the job market - or in applying for further study in this area."
