Uxbridge College is continuing to remain open as usual following advice from the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
Information based on advice from the HPA and the Department of Health has been circulated to all relevant parties, following two cases of swine flu diagnosed in June. Both people were treated by their GPs and stayed at home while recovering.
Laraine Smith, Principal of Uxbridge College, said: "On advice from the HPA and in line with other organisations, Uxbridge College remains open as usual following two cases of swine flu last month.
"During the summer vacation which started on 13 July, our full-time students will all be on holiday while some part-time courses will continue to run at College, as well as community events such as the Fiesta programme for young people.
"Our staff will also continue to offer the full range of advice and information services for anyone interested in finding out more about courses on offer, as well as support and advice for people looking for work."
