BTEC Exams in January 2021 Have Been Cancelled
Updated: 5 January 2021 at 20:00

The Department for Education (DfE) and Pearson have tonight published an update on VTQs. Scheduled BTEC exams were due to begin tomorrow 6 January.

We have tonight (5 January 2021) decided to:

1.       Cancel ALL January BTEC exams.

2.       Move all BTEC classes to fully remote delivery.

We have NOT yet cancelled ESOL, Functional Skills and wider VTQs eg. City & Guilds exams. However, we are waiting for further updates on wider exams planned for later this month and will update as soon as these are available.

Please contact your School Administrator or Teacher if you need any further information.

Thank you.

I am thoroughly enjoying my course at Uxbridge College. I have been able to explore a wide range of specialisms in art and design. My teachers are enthusiastic, supportive and always encourage me. As part of the course, we have researched progression options, visited universities and UCAS fairs. This has been very helpful, as I want to progress to university after college.

I chose Uxbridge College as I had heard many good and positive things about the College and its facilities. On my course, we use a lot of equipment and I feel that there is always enough of the right equipment available for us to complete the work. The lecturers are helpful and always there if we need help after class. The lessons are varied and the lecturers make learning fun and exciting. I would definitely recommend the College to family and friends.
