BTEC Exams in January 2021 Have Been Cancelled
Updated: 5 January 2021 at 20:00

The Department for Education (DfE) and Pearson have tonight published an update on VTQs. Scheduled BTEC exams were due to begin tomorrow 6 January.

We have tonight (5 January 2021) decided to:

1.       Cancel ALL January BTEC exams.

2.       Move all BTEC classes to fully remote delivery.

We have NOT yet cancelled ESOL, Functional Skills and wider VTQs eg. City & Guilds exams. However, we are waiting for further updates on wider exams planned for later this month and will update as soon as these are available.

Please contact your School Administrator or Teacher if you need any further information.

Thank you.

I love that my course involves a lot of practical work to develop my skills for university and future career preparation. The teachers are very helpful and provide quality teaching and the Student Support and Careers Team have been very helpful in dealing with student concerns and problems. I am thoroughly enjoying and satisfied with my course and I would really recommend Uxbridge College to start your future.

I have found Uxbridge College to be great, as the way everything is taught with real world examples and explanations really helps in understanding completely new topics. The facilities for my course are great and staff are constantly offering us resources that we didn’t even know about! My time here has been great as my course is extremely interesting and was a lot more than I expected. It really helped open my eyes to the field of computing, all while receiving an outstanding education.
