Access to Further Education -Vocational (Entry Level 3)
No formal qualifications are needed. You may contact us yourself or be referred by your school or a Careers Adviser.
You will have an assessment at interview.
Functional Skills in
Learners work towards the Edexcel Entry 3 Certificate in Vocational Studies and the City & Guilds Entry 3 Certificate Employability and Personal Development Units include:
- Developing Creative Media Skills
- Introduction to the Performing Arts
- Work-based Experience
- Contributing to a Team
- Career Progression
Students are supported in class and on off-site activities by our team of learning support assistants. Our Employment Coach works with individuals learners before, during and after work placements. We are also able to support on a 1-1 basis where required and give CSW support.

Throughout the year the course tutors will help you to prepare for your next step when you complete the course. You may be able to progress to another course within Foundation Studies or to vocational or academic courses within the college.
