Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs grade D (grade 3) or above. If you do not have any formal qualifications you must pass an entry exam. A satisfactory reference may be required.

Who is the course for

Our GCSE programme is designed for students who may wish to improve their existing grades and study additional subjects, or for those who have not had the opportunity to sit for GCSEs.

Course Content

Normally five subjects are taken from the following:

  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • English
  • English literature
  • History
  • Mathematics
  • Media
  • Physics
  • Sociology
  • Statistics.

How is the course assessed

GCSEs are assessed by external examinations at the end of the year, combined with internal assessments in some subjects.

A Level or Level 3 programme.

Where next - Job Opportunities

Achieving GCSEs, especially English and mathematics, improves the chance of employment or gaining an apprenticeship.
