BTEC Exams in January 2021 Have Been Cancelled
Updated: 5 January 2021 at 20:00

The Department for Education (DfE) and Pearson have tonight published an update on VTQs. Scheduled BTEC exams were due to begin tomorrow 6 January.

We have tonight (5 January 2021) decided to:

1.       Cancel ALL January BTEC exams.

2.       Move all BTEC classes to fully remote delivery.

We have NOT yet cancelled ESOL, Functional Skills and wider VTQs eg. City & Guilds exams. However, we are waiting for further updates on wider exams planned for later this month and will update as soon as these are available.

Please contact your School Administrator or Teacher if you need any further information.

Thank you.

I joined Uxbridge College, because my school recommended it to me and it is close to where I live. I like my motor vehicle course, I think the facilities and equipment for this course are very good and easily accessible to me. I wish to progress to an apprenticeship and I think the staff at the College are very helpful, supportive and encouraging. I would definitely recommend Uxbridge College to others.

The facilities and workshop for motor vehicle training at Uxbridge College help me achieve the best I can from my course. The teachers are very helpful and encouraging. I’ve gained experience working on a variety of cars, widening my learning and understanding. I feel very safe coming to the College even with everything going on, and even during lockdown, zoom sessions and google classroom kept me up to date with my learning. The best thing about Uxbridge College is the environment and the opportunities offered to students.
