Uxbridge College is based on two campuses, in Uxbridge and Hayes, which offer all the best facilities to help students achieve academic and vocational excellence.
Both campuses provide a refectory, student relaxation areas, a Learning Resources Centre and have benefited from more than £65m worth of investment in the last few years.
Dedicated HE facilities
To ensure you can access the right resources we provide a dedicated room (in Uxbridge) for use only by HE students. Facilities include access to free Wi-Fi, PCs, reference books and periodicals and you can get British Library loans on requested study texts. We also provide an HE lounge for relaxation between classes.
Facilities to help you study
Study when it suits you in the Learning Resources Centres (LRCs), located on both campuses. Our LRCs have the latest resources you need for your study, including: dozens of computers, a huge selection of reference books, periodicals and journals, educational DVDs and audio resources. We use a range of e-resources including Credo and E-brary, plus you can access specific course related information on Moodle – the college’s virtual learning environment.
Specialist industry facilities
In the last few years we have continued to update our campuses in Uxbridge and Hayes, so you can expect to learn in well-equipped classrooms with the latest technology. Specialist facilities for our HE courses include industry-standard manual and robotic workshops for engineering, computer rooms with high spec machines and the latest software required for the games development industry.
